Meet the Owner
Hi, I'm Matthew Lozano, owner of Loxahatchee Trailer Rentals.
I've called the West Palm Beach and Loxahatchee area home since 2019, but my background in the automotive and diesel industry goes back much further. I've been working on vehicles since high school, attended General Motors training, became ASE Certified in 2016, and spent years working in independent repair shops, dealerships, and heavy truck and trailer maintenance.
Loxahatchee Trailer Rentals started in 2021 from a simple idea. After I stopped buying and selling cars during the COVID years, a few friends began borrowing my trailer. That got me thinking: if people I knew needed reliable trailers, maybe others did too. After a lot of research and planning, I decided to take the leap and start my own trailer rental business.
What began with one trailer has grown into a family-owned business that my wife and I operate together every day. While we rent trailers and equipment, our real focus has always been people. I believe that great customer service isn't just about providing quality equipment—it's about treating customers with honesty, respect, and understanding.
As a diesel mechanic by trade, I take pride in maintaining equipment to a high standard and paying attention to the details. My goal is simple: provide safe, reliable equipment and a rental experience that exceeds expectations from start to finish.
When I'm not working, you'll usually find me enjoying the outdoors, whether that's off-roading, mudding, fishing, or spending time with family and friends. Those hobbies have helped me connect with many of the customers we serve, and they remind me why I started this business in the first place—to help people enjoy their projects, adventures, and hard-earned weekends.

What do I need to rent a trailer?
A valid driver's license and tow vehicle insurance card. You'll upload your insurance during checkout and sign a rental agreement digitally.
How does pickup work?
We use a self-service lockbox system at our yard (13925 78th Pl N, West Palm Beach, FL 33412). You'll receive the lockbox code and directions via text when your rental begins. Contactless pickup is available 6AM-9PM
Can I extend my rental?
Yes! If the trailer isn't reserved after your return date, we can extend your rental. Just call or text us to arrange it.
Do your trailers have electric brakes?
Our tandem axle trailers are equipped with electric brakes. Single axle utility trailers do not have brakes. Check each trailer's specs for details.
What's included with the rental?
Free straps, ramps, and tools are included with every rental. Each trailer listing shows the full details under 'What's Included.'
How is pricing calculated?
A one-day rental is a full 24 hours from pickup. A Half day rental is a 6 hours max. Weekly and monthly rates give you significant savings on longer rentals.
What size truck do I need to tow?
It depends on the trailer. Our utility trailers can be towed by most trucks and SUVs. Larger equipment and dump trailers require a half-ton truck or bigger. Check the weight specs on each listing.
Do you deliver trailers?
We currently offer self-service pickup from our West Palm Beach yard. Delivery may be available for select trailers — call us to ask.
What's your cancellation policy?
Contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel. We're flexible and will work with you on rescheduling or refunds.
What if I don't see the trailer I need?
Call us at 786-387-6733 — we might have one not listed on the website yet.
